On Tuesday 7th December, Year 3 travelled back in time to the Stone Age, with a visit to Kents Cavern.
The children had a fantastic day practising their cave art skills and becoming archaeologists as they analysed different artefacts. The highlight of the trip was venturing underground to explore the caves and find out what it was like to live there all those years ago. We even found out what total darkness felt like!
The trip was a super way to finish our history topic on the Stone Age and the children really showed off all of their fantastic knowledge from our learning!
