On Monday, the children in Key Stage 2 attended a “Be Dog Smart” assembly, led by Emily, an Education Officer from the Dogs Trust. The children learnt some important messages about how to behave around dogs, as well as what to do if they are feeling worried around dogs.
The children in Year 3, then took part in some engaging workshops where they learnt all about ‘Dog safety and enjoyed meeting 'Peggy' the dog! This workshop, as part of Rydon’s ‘Eleven by Eleven’ provision, enabled the children to earn their ‘Caring for me’ badge, which they are proudly wearing.
